Jo Leung

Position: Physiotherapist
Categories: Physiotherapists

Jo Wing Lam Leung is an Australia-trained physiotherapist with over a decade of clinical experience across Australia, Hong Kong, and Africa (Eswatini). She works with a wide range of clients—from adolescents to older adults—but is particularly known for helping people with more complex or long-standing issues move and feel stronger again. Her approach combines hands-on treatment with progressive, exercise-based rehabilitation. Rather than focusing only on symptom relief, Jo works with patients to rebuild strength, movement confidence, and long-term resilience. Jo focuses on spinal conditions, including scoliosis, as well as complex musculoskeletal cases. She integrates scoliosis-specific rehabilitation with strength training principles to support both adolescents and adults beyond traditional corrective exercise. Jo also has a strong interest in patient education—helping individuals understand their condition and take an active role in their recovery. Beyond the clinic, Jo previously spent six years working in Eswatini, where she initiated a disability sports programme, including the country’s first wheelchair basketball team. She continues to be involved in community outreach and health education projects.
