Planning for Pregnancy

TCM can help improve gynecological issues, enhance egg quality, and optimize the uterine environment. If men’s sperm quality is poor, TCM treatment should also be coordinated.

Timing for Treatment

  • Begin at least 3 months before trying to conceive, using a combination of acupuncture, moxibustion, and herbal medicine.

  • Acupuncture: 1-3 times a week for 3-12 months, depending on individual differences.

  • Herbal Medicine: Recommendations provided as needed.

  • Provides support before, during, and after reproductive procedures

  • If there are specific gynecological diseases, incorporate uterine massage based on individual needs.

Pregnant Women:

TCM can help reduce discomfort during pregnancy, e.g. nausea, poor sleep, body aches, abnormal fetal positioning. TCM practitioners can also work with the mothers to enhance digestive system, and help the baby absorb nutrients effectively.

  • Bioenergetic Sacral Therapy (with acupuncture): Once a week for 9 months.

Postpartum Women

Physical Health:

Menopause (Ages 45-55)

Symptoms include dryness syndrome, hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, increased anxiety, uterine prolapse, and other accompanying gynecological issues. These can improve menopausal syndrome and support women through this transition period, with many symptoms beginning in the perimenopausal phase.

Treatment Methods:

  • Acupuncture: Once a week for 2-3 months; afterwards, maintenance sessions twice a month for one month.
