The uterus is the source of new life and creativity. When we are unable to freely harness this creative energy, the uterus may become blocked, affecting our overall health. As women, our self-awareness and acceptance of our identity, as well as our feelings within gender relationships, can profoundly impact our inner state, sometimes leading to feelings of exhaustion. Over time, these suppressed emotions may manifest as ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, or adenomyosis, hindering health and pregnancy.
Each monthly menstruation is a valuable opportunity for us to release what is no longer needed, attune ourselves to the natural rhythm of life, give ourselves ample rest, and feel the power of being a woman. During menstrual pain, it is equally important to reflect on feelings of resentment in addition to seeking holistic treatment. By unlocking these emotional barriers, the body may no longer need to express itself through pain, promoting better women’s health and uterine health.
Gut-Brain Axis
Research indicates that the state of the central nervous system, central immune system, and central endocrine system is closely related to the digestive system, affecting the overall balance and health of the body. The digestive system and a woman’s uterus store many emotions and rigid, viscous energy blocks, closely linked to our thought processes. During abdominal release massage, many clients experience gradual relaxation in the neck and head, activating deep sleep wave frequencies and allowing the body and mind to completely relax.
